Shine Centre: Our Shine Centre, managed by Ms. Beth Silbert, opened its doors in 2013. The Shine Centre is run by volunteers who assist our Grade 2 and 3 learners to improve their Literacy skills. The learners benefit from intense support twice a week and we hope to see an improvement in their results.
Breakfast Club: Since February 2016, a dedicated team of volunteers and older learners have been preparing E’pap and fruit breakfasts for our school each morning. These breakfasts is now available to all learners, many of whom have a long journey after getting up as early sometimes as 4.30am. Hungry children cannot learn! The Breakfast Club is entirely funded by private donors.
Community Keepers: Community keepers provide free professional mental health and social services to learners, parents and teachers within the school. Our services include individual counselling and therapy, assessments, group therapy, teacher and parent workshops and training.
