Healthy Lunch

G.H.S.J.S supports the 'healthy children - healthy lunches 'policy. As a staff, we feel that we should encourage parents to send healthy lunches for our children. In this way, parents can manage exactly what our children eat on a daily basis.

Recommendations for a healthy lunch:

  • Peanut butter and jam; Cheese and tomato; Tuna and mayo; Cheese and lettuce
  • Boiled eggs and mayo / tomatoes; Pasta; Yoghurt; Fruit; Samp and beans
  • Water bottles and fruit
  • Healthy children perform better at school. Please limit treats (chips and sweets) for the weekends and holidays.
